These are brushes with a flat tip. They are used for painting and varnishing as they provide a smooth continuous coat of paint on the surface.
• Distemper brushes
As the name suggests, these brushes are used to apply distemper.

These brushes come in small sizes. These are used for work requiring a higher precision and detail.
